LED Batten Lights for Commercial Spaces
Choosing the Right Length
Batten fittings come in 2ft, 4ft, 5ft, and 6ft lengths. Pick based on ceiling layout and how much light you need. Twin battens double the output without adding extra fittings, which cuts install time and wiring runs.
A 4ft single batten suits small offices or corridors. Twin 5ft or 6ft fittings work well in larger workshops, garages, or retail stockrooms where you need strong, even light across the whole space.
Linkable vs Standalone
Linkable battens connect end-to-end with plug-in cables, so you only need one mains feed for multiple fittings. This keeps wiring simple and reduces install costs on long runs.
Standalone fittings wire directly to the mains. They suit single-point installations or spaces where you want each light on its own switch. Both types use the same LED chips and drivers — the only difference is how they connect.
IP Ratings and Durability
Most battens are IP20, fine for dry indoor use. If you need protection from dust or moisture, our sealed non-corrosive range handles tougher conditions without failing.
All fittings use tough plastic diffusers that spread light evenly without glare. They run cool, so there's no heat buildup or fire risk even after long shifts.
Replacing Old Fluorescent Fittings
LED battens drop straight into place of old fluorescent fittings. You remove the old unit, fix the new batten to the ceiling, and wire it in. No ballast, no starter — just one fitting with everything built in.
They use half the power of fluorescent tubes and last five times longer. That means lower bills and fewer replacements. Spaces that need backup lighting for power cuts can pair battens with emergency packs for full coverage.
