Commercial LED Lighting Built for Long Shifts
Battens vs Tube Lights
Battens are complete fittings with built-in LEDs. They suit new installs or full replacements in offices, corridors, and workshops. Retrofit tubes drop into existing fluorescent fittings, so you keep the old housing and swap the lamp. Both cut energy use by half or more compared to fluorescent.
Battens give you sensor options — PIR or microwave — and higher efficiency ratings (up to 125lm/W). Tubes are faster to fit if you already have compatible fittings. Check the starter type before ordering tubes; some older units need rewiring.
High Bays and Low Bays
High bays work in spaces with ceilings over 8 metres — warehouses, factories, sports halls. Low bays fit ceilings under 8 metres. Both use reflectors to push light down without glare. Wattage depends on ceiling height and how much natural light you get. Most high bays run 100-200W; low bays sit around 50-100W.
Our fittings come with branded drivers (Philips, Osram) that last longer and handle voltage spikes better than generic units.
Outdoor and Sealed Fittings
Floodlights cover loading bays, car parks, and building perimeters. Sealed IP65 and IP66 fittings handle dust, moisture, and temperature swings without failing. Most are rated IK08 or higher for impact resistance.
Panel lights drop into suspended ceilings in offices and retail spaces. The 200mm round panels use Philips drivers and come with emergency backup options for compliance. 2D replacements fit older bulkhead fittings in stairwells and toilets.
