Pick wattage based on room size and ceiling height. An 8W or 12W 2D LED bulb works well in small offices, toilets, or hallways. A 16W or 18W lamp suits larger rooms, workshops, or retail back-of-house areas where you need more light. All our lamps produce bright, even output without the flicker or hum of old tubes.
Quick Retrofit Installation
Most 2D LED replacements fit existing GR10q or GR8 sockets without rewiring. You remove the old fluorescent lamp and starter, then clip the new LED version into place. Some fittings need the ballast bypassed for best performance — check the product spec or ask an electrician if you're unsure. The swap takes minutes and works with commercial fittings already installed across thousands of UK buildings.
