These Super Lumen EcoBrite® fluorescent tube replacements are great value and produce an amazing 120lm/w. This tube is 8ft (2400mm) long and features an aluminium heatsink to ensure that the heat produced is taken away from its electronic components giving it great reliability and a long life.
Unfortunately due to postal charges there is a minimum order of 2 for this product.
Consisting of Surface Mounted Diodes, this tube will produce a light output equal to its fluorescent counterpart but consumes up to 60 percent LESS energy.
All of the tube configurations come identical to a standard tube with 2 pins at each end and have an internal driver (The driver is contained within the tube and the tube can be retrofitted easily to existing fittings with starters)
This fittting offers a beam angle of 120 degrees and comes in Natural White (4500-5000k) with a frosted lens, however, other colours and finishes are available on request.
If your fitting does not have a starter, then you will need to make some wiring alterations to your fittings........

- Used in 2off 8ft fluorescent fittings with diffusers in Kitchen. Very difficult to find replacement fluorescent tubes and as one fitting had previously been replaced with an LED tube, decided to replace both tube together. Tubes supplied by ledsave.co.uk slightly lower power (36W instead of 44W for old LED tube) but with similar output. Also supplying a clip and screw to hold the centre of the tube was a very good idea, since the old LED tube did sag considerably in the middle without a clip. The quality of the tube appears excellent and with a 3 year warranty, this is longer than the 2 year warranty on the old LED tube (although even the old tube has been in operation for about 5 years) so I am not expecting to replace them in the near future! I would definitely recommend the 8ft tube to replace any existing fluorescent tube if the fitting is to be retained, since the lower energy use and extended life of LED tubes more than justifies the slightly higher purchase costs.Collected via eKomi

- Great lights, nice and bright compared to the original florescent ones they replaced. Tiny bit of a faf as there is a support clip to add on the light fitting on these 8ft ones (depending on the original florescent light the screw holding the metal cover on place may have one central to the length in which case you will need to make the hole in the clip larger to accommodate the M6 screw, or if there isn't one there drill a small pilot hole and fix it with a self tapping screw).
